Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you use our contact or interest forms, we collect the information you provide (name, email, optional phone) and basic attribution data (how you found us).

When a parent or guardian completes a paid survey/assessment for an athlete, we collect: the athlete's name, grade, and optional position and team; the athlete's survey responses; and the parent/guardian's name and email. Payment is handled through Venmo — we do not collect or store card or bank details. We never sell your information.

We also record basic technical data with a submission — IP address, browser/device, and referring page — which we store securely for security, fraud prevention, and analytics. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.

Children's Privacy (families of youth athletes)

Our programs serve youth athletes, so we take children's privacy seriously and design our forms to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA):

• For any athlete under 18, the parent or legal guardian completes the survey, is the point of contact, and provides consent (including a liability waiver) before any information is collected.
• We collect the athlete's name, grade, optional position/team, and survey responses solely to produce that athlete's assessment. We do not collect a child's email, phone number, date of birth, or precise location, and we do not create accounts for children.
• Information about minors is stored securely (access-restricted and encrypted at rest), used only to generate and deliver the assessment, and reviewed by the coach before anything is sent.
• We do not add minors to any marketing list and do not send marketing to a minor.
• Records relating to minors are retained only as long as needed for the assessment and program history, then permanently deleted; a parent may request deletion at any time.

How we use information

To respond to your inquiry, produce the assessment you requested, have the coach review it, and email the resulting Scorecard to the parent or guardian. We do not use survey responses for advertising.

Parent access & deletion

A parent or guardian may request access to, or deletion of, their family's information at any time by contacting us at basketballandbeyondwa@outlook.com.

Analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics (GA4 and Microsoft Clarity), loaded only with consent.
